Program Manager, ASSUREd Safe

Jason brings over two decades of experience in training development, disaster response coordination, and airspace management. As Program Manager at ASSUREd Safe, he leads initiatives that enhance UAS training for first responders, with a focus on instructional quality, training management, and curriculum innovation.

Prior to joining ASSUREd Safe, Jason served as the Director of the Department of Military Science at Mississippi State University, where he oversaw leadership development and tactical training with more than 130 cadets. He also served as an instructor at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, where he taught graduate-level courses in tactics, training management, advanced fires, and Defense Support of Civil Authorities.

Jason has played key roles in several major disaster response and multinational training efforts. He was responsible for the U.S. Army Europe Disaster Response Concept Plan and its execution during Operation United Assistance, the U.S. government’s coordinated response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. He also contributed to multi-agency training exercises designed to prepare responders for catastrophic incidents including Exercise Immediate Response, Yama Sakura in Japan, and Vibrant Response.

Jason holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and dual bachelor’s degrees in Systems Engineering and Military History from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
